I just found out about mauiguidebook.com today and am impressed!

I will be visiting Maui for 4 days in March and am interested in snorkeling. However, I have NEVER been before and am wondering if anyone can recommend any places in Maui for beginners? It sounds like ‘Ahihi Bay is not a great starting point for someone who has never snorkeled before.

Thanks,
Nat

Very nice, detailed information. This will be so helpful to us when we go to Maui next month. The way the snorkeling information is organized within area makes it unnecessary to buy another updated snorkel book.

Great work!

Thanks for the information. Every other printed guidebook, and "up to date" websites and blogs have information that is either vague or flat out wrong. Even one of the dive shops I called gave me inaccurate info.

Thanks for describing the status of the snorkeling here, and showing the actual sign about the closures, and describing what you CAN do, and how to do it.

I really think that detailed information like this is the key to restoring and maintaining this beautiful area. Mahalo!
