Description:
My favorite all-around restaurant experience on Maui. The ambiance is perfect. The location is too. And the food is superb.

That said, you pay for this kind of exceptional place - it is quite easy to close in on 0/person when all is said and done. If you are one to strongly factor in value to your decision, you may be one of the few dissatisfied customers - a nice chunk of the bill is simply "because they can get it" and you could have a meal that closely approaches this quality elsewhere for less.

Cost aside, this is always the first restaurant I recommend island-wide to friends and family visiting because it's the kind of place you imagine (but is so rare) when you think about eating on the beach in Hawaii.

Situated on Kuau Cove, the ambiance here is spectacular. Sunsets are gorgeous.

Everything here is top-notch - the daily menu shows the fresh catches (and the fishermen who caught them!) The servers are expert, and loaded with Aloha.

Mama's is often seated to capacity - make a reservation.
