Description:
Farmer's Market Maui is a friendly and funky little vegetarian health food store on the West Side of Maui a bot past Lahaina in a town called Honokowai.
Fresh organic produce, shelves stocked with yummy healthy foods and prepared foods (including a small hot bar and larger fresh salad bar.)
Samples are available galore from their designated sample area (and they also will let you sample most of the other stuff if you ask!)
If you're a vegetarian staying in West Maui this will become a "must visit" - but even if not veg, but like to shop locally, they have a significant selection of locally grown and produced items. Besides that, this store itself is locally owned and family-operated.
Hippies will delight in the slightly chaotic and funky atmosphere, music and warm, welcoming attitude.
More type-A folks might get frustrated searching for something hidden, or carried away with their imaginations as Knotty Dread starts mixin' up the guac. ;-)
