Summary:
A simple, clean unit in a small oceanfront condo complex in the quiet part of Lahaina. An exceptional value for those who value oceanfront and Lahaina location, but don’t want to spend $500+ per night on a hotel.
Watch whales, turtles and sunsets while sipping a tropical drink right from your lanai (or while working on your tan lounging at the oceanfront pool!) There is also great snorkeling right from the property.
Close enough to the busy part of Front Street, but removed and quiet when you want to retreat from the hustle and bustle, and take in the sound of the ocean. The convenient location is also walking distance to a supermarket and everything else you’ll need on your vacation – including the best rated luau on Maui: The Old Lahaina Luau.
This unit is designed to bring the year round ocean breezes in, the louvered windows and big screen doors direct Maui’s consistent cooling trade winds though the unit. There is no air conditioning in the unit, guests looking for 65-degree climate control 24/7 will not be happy, but those who enjoy having an open air unit will be thrilled with the relaxing sound of waves crashing and steady tropical breezes moving through the unit.
Location, location, location
The Lahaina Roads complex sits among other residences at the north end of Lahaina Town, the historic capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Lahaina is the most visited spot on Maui – and for good reason! Tons of things to do, plus Lahaina boasts the only full-featured, walkable down-town you’ll find on our island. A historic charm and uniqueness not duplicated anywhere else.
From your door you can easily access all Lahaina has to offer: Self-tour historic places. Browse all manner of shops, dine at restaurants, from fine dining to more simple fare. Peruse fine art galleries, shop from local vendors, watch the boats on the water. Whale watches, fishing charters, snorkel boats and ferries depart form Lahaina Harbor for day trips to the islands of Lanai and Molokai. There is really way too much going on in Lahaina to mention here – for much greater detail about what makes Lahaina Maui’s most popular spot, check out our Lahaina Town article.
Besides the oceanfront Lahaina location, this condo is also within very easy reach of multiple world-class beaches, resorts, spas, fun activities and golf courses.
Beaches
West Maui’s best beaches are all a short drive. Closest for wonderful snorkeling, whale watching and sitting in a lounge chair is the ocean that fronts the condo. There is no sand beach here, but there are steps for entry into the water, and the swimming is wonderful.
Since some of the very best beaches in the world are just minutes by car – you’ll probably want to check most (or all) of these top-rated beaches for yourself:
Lahaina Baby Beach ~1/2 mi.
A favorite of young families, shallow and safe because of the offshore reef.
Ka’anapali Beach ~4 mi.
Ka’anapali Beach is a mile-long, spectacularly perfect beach that is home to seven resorts, high-end shopping, various restaurants and activities.
Kahekili Beach Park ~5mi.
Drive-up snorkeling convenience on a wonderful, less-than-crowded resort beach.
Napili Bay ~10 mi.
A less crowded, low-key resort beach with a much more family feel than many in West Maui.
Mokuleia Beach ~10 mi.
A dramatic cliff-framed beach and bay.
Oneloa Beach ~10 mi.
Also known as Ironwoods Beach. A 1/4 Mile long, sandy and uncrowded beach next to Kapalua resort.
D.T. Flemming Beach Park ~11 mi.
Long, sandy beach backed by ironwoods and full facilities. Next to Kapalua resort and the Ritz Carlton.
Honolua Bay ~12mi
