This is a well-used cove and landing for kayaking, fishing, snorkeling and shore dives.
The gentle sandy entry if also good for little ones – add in the showers, restrooms and parking, and that’s what makes this a favorite place for Maui families to hang out on the weekend.
Incredibly scenic, considering the local competition, the minuses are enough to keep most visitors from spending time here. Some minuses include the fact that the beaches are small and there is a small side-road that passes immediately adjacent (great if you need to carry something like a kayak, but not optimal if you don’t want to hear cars driving by.)
