Summary
A quiet, immaculately clean and recently remodeled oceanfront unit. Unit 334 is a front-corner units with breathtaking panoramic ocean and sunset views. The master bedroom has its own private lanai. Very tastefully remodeled and well appointed.
Living room
The floorplan layout of Village By The Sea rooms are not long rectangles like most Kihei condos – much, much better in terms of feeling like you’re in a home and not a box. You’re oceanfront on a sand beach also.
Dining and living areas
Modern kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a wine cooler. Living area has a tastefully done built-in entertainment center, all new furniture and a large TV.

Location
One reason the price stays in line is that the location isn’t sitting inside one of the posh resort areas in Wailea – but folks who’ve been to Maui know that actually matters very little because Maui is very small. You can be at any part of South Maui from here within minutes. All beaches in Maui are public, so in ten minutes you can be sitting at the same beach Paris Hilton lounges on (that would be Wailea Beach, by the way) but without the “on Wailea Beach” price tag.

The Beach
Village By The Sea sits beachfront on Waipu’ilani Beach, a long sand and coral beach protected by reef. Another local beach a short walk is Kalepolepo Beach Park, home to culturally significant and the most accessible ancient Hawaiian fishpond in Maui. Both are great beaches of convenience for when you want to escape touristy crowds, have dinner or drinks while you watch the sunset, or strike up a down-to-earth conversation with a local family.

We had a wonderful time at Monika’s unit #334. The unit was comfortable, the view was spectacular and the snorkel and beach equipment was much appreciated. The condo sits on a private large open lawn and was quite relaxing to do yoga every morning under one of the banyan trees. It’s quiet and comfortable. The owner responded to a request we had when we first arrived. We recommend the unit for the price and location.

We just came home from our ten day stay in #334. The unit is comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. It was so nice to have four sand chairs, an umbrella and cooler already in the unit. We needed another umbrella, so we bought it and left it for the next group. We also appreciated the snorkel gear, and boogie boards! With laundry facilities nearby, everything worked out well. The on-site managers were so nice, and we really enjoyed our stay.
