Opened in 1991, the Plantation Course has attained Mecca status for serious golfers to make their once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage.
Host to the PGA Tour SBS Championship (formerly Mercedes-Benz) golf greats such as Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Justin Leonard, Ernie Els, Davis Love III and many more have been challenged on this course in recent years.

An absolutely spectacular and well maintained course, with views to match – while highly challenging, the wide range of tees makes it playable by all golfers.
While professional reviewers give this course top grades, online reviews on amateur/non-golfing websites are all over the board. I’m convinced that folks who left poor reviews are not used to shelling out this kind of money to play a round, and expected the fee included a maintenance crew to follow ahead and sod every divot left by the previous foursome. Folks, you can be a regular-old-golfer to play here, but you’re going to need to leave buyer’s remorse back at the hotel and be willing to drop $300 without batting an eyelash. I have played here 3 times and am a high handicapper. While the course ate me up, I had the time of my life. If you shoot 100+ like I did but didn’t enjoy your experience,
you should probably look for another activity to fill up your spare time. The condition of the course, the views, the challenges, etc. more than make up for a 100+ round.
