The crescent end of Waipuilani Beach, the deep blue ocean and our neighbor islands – spectacular views from the dining area, living room, lanai and master bedroom. Menehune Shores is a mid-rise beachfront condo building in a horseshoe shape right on the beach in north-central Kihei. Quiet grounds, oceanfront pool, impeccable lawn.

Location
Menehune Shores is close to stores, beaches, restaurants and shops. Monsoon India, one of Maui’s best Indian restaurants, is on the bottom floor of the building and there are also three different shopping centers within a mile.

Other places of interest: Beachfront roller skating rink and skate park is 2 miles, Cove Park (best place for surf lessons) is 2.25 miles, Kamaole Beach Park is 2.5 miles, Keawakapu Beach is 3.75 miles, Wailea is 4 miles, Big Beach/Little Beach is 8 miles. The airport is 10 miles.

The Beach
Menehune Shores sits beachfront between Waipu’ilani Beach, a long white sand and coral beach protected by reef, and Kalepolepo Beach Park, home to culturally significant and the most accessible ancient Hawaiian fishpond in Maui. (It is uncrowded and is also the site of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary learning center.) Both are great beaches of convenience for when you want to escape touristy crowds, have dinner or drinks while you watch the sunset, or strike up a down-to-earth conversation with a local family.
